| NEW JERSEY PAJAMA PROGRAM |

The goal of the program is to assure every needy child goes to bed with a new pair of pajamas and a new book to read. As Volunteer Coordinator, it is my job to assist in PJ drives/collection of PJs in anyway I can and to locate organizations in Sussex & Morris Counties that assist needy children. I coordinate the delivery of PJs and books. If it’s a classroom style, i.e. Head Start Programs, I read and distribute the PJs and books to the children. Otherwise, I arrange the shipment to the organization and the PJs are distributed as needed.
We work at this 365 days! This is not a once in while deed. Once an organization is in our system, they can make requests on an "as needed" basis. We give to children from birth to age 17. Please help us by collecting PJs or monetary donations. For every $20 we collect, the Pajama Program headquarters can purchase between three and five pairs of PJs directly from participating companies.
